Due to COVID-19, this year’s ceremonies will be held virtually.
This page will be updated as information becomes available.
We are truly sorry to miss the opportunity of celebrating with you and your families. Commencement is undoubtedly one of the best days of the year. Unfortunately, we are unable to have gatherings to celebrate, but we hope that you will participate in the alternative ceremonies and celebrations that the University has worked hard to provide. For those graduating, please keep an eye on your emails from the university.
The main campus ceremony will be released at 9am on June 20th.
Departmental ceremonies will be released at 10:30 on June 20th
(we will link here when it’s available)
All students who graduated in Fall 2019 and Winter 2020, and who have applied to graduate in Spring 2020 or Summer 2020 have been sent an email with information about how to participate.
We encourage all students to participate in the grad roll, which is a calling out of names with your picture and a brief video that you can submit via the system. Look for emails about UO commencement to complete this. You must opt-out if you do not want to participate.
If you plan to graduate in Summer 2020 and have not yet applied to graduate, you MUST contact Leslie McLees ASAP (firstname.lastname@example.org, put “Summer 2020 graduate” in the subject line) so that you can participate in the grad roll and be in the departmental program (which we will mail to your families).
