Facilitated by Leslie McLees, Undergraduate coordinator

Graduating bachelor students and their families invited to a semi-structured discussion with faculty. If possible, we would like students and faculty to come prepared to answer a few fun questions to keep the conversation rolling:

1. What class got you interested in Geography either at UO or elsewhere? Why did that class interest you?

2. What is the coolest or most interesting or most surprising thing you learned in a geography class?

3. What is your favorite memory from a geography class or event?

This event is an opportunity for undergraduates and faculty to say goodbye to each other. The hope is that people who want more chances to chat individually will be able to connect here and further conversation if they want to. There will not be break-out rooms due to the dynamism of the event. We hope this is an informal and fun opportunity for students and faculty alike. Family of graduating students are welcome to join, though the conversation will center on students.

Any questions can be directed to Leslie McLees at

We look forward to celebrating with you!
