The European Union

http://europa.eu.int/ This is the official website of the European Union. It is available in all 20 official languages of the EU, an incredible resource housing a mind-blowing amount of information, and is one of the most confusing websites I have ever seen! Don't worry, I will help you with this one!

http://europa.eu.int/comm/eurostat/ This is the Eurostat homepage. This is the storehouse of all of the official statistics kept by the European Union.

http://www.eurunion.org/ The European Union in the United States. This website is specifically designed to help Americans understand the workings of the EU.

http://www.euroguide.org/euroguide/subject-listing/ A site that does a good job of 'simplifying' the EU for the uninitiated.
