Instructor: Pat McDowell, office at 153 Condon Hall; office hours 11:30-12:30 Wednesday, 11:00-12:00 Thursday, other times by appointment. E-mail: pmcd@oregon. Phone: 346-4567

Graduate Teaching Fellow: Suzanne Fouty, office at 202 Condon; office hours: Tues. 3:30-4:30 in the SSIL lab (room 72 PLC); 8:30-9:30 am and 4:00-5:00 pm in 202 Condon; other times by appointment.
E-mail: scfouty@darkwing.

Textbook: Knighton, D., 1998, Fluvial Forms and Processes, A New Perspective, plus a reading packet, and some additional reserve readings. The textbook and reading packet are available at the UO Bookstore; the textbook is also on reserve at Knight Library.

Grading: Test 1 30%, test 2 30%, exercises 40%.

Each reading assignment should be completed before the related lecture. Reading assignments refer to page numbers in Knighton (1998), or by author’s name to an article in the reading packet. "tba" indicates an article to be announced later; these will probably be available on reserve on on-line.
