I heard Mike Burton, Metro executive, say on the radio that just maybe some of our mudslides, falling trees and flooding are being caused by too much paving and too much building.
Bless my soul! Someone with a little authority actually has come up with a thought and said it publicly.
Now, are those who approve building permits going to listen? How much longer is it going to take for Mother Nature's ranting and raving to get through? How much more of Oregon and Washington are we going to give up just because no one has the guts to say "no" to builders?
