There is a lot of terminology in geomorphology and related fields such as structural geology and mineralogy.
You will need to know the geomorphology terms, and you'll need to know the other terms adequately to get the
meaning of the readings. Use a dictionary for terms you don't understand.
There is a useful glossary of terms in the back of the textbook. Try it first. Other suggestions are given below.
