Most of the information on this site is about the city of Guanajuato, but there are also articles on Oaxaca and Lake Patzcuaro.

I built this website as a final project for my Master of Science degree in Geography, Education Track at the University of Oregon.
This site is based upon fieldwork conducted in Oaxaca, Patzcuaro, Guanajuato, and Monterrey, Mexico between June and August, 2001.
Except for the maps (which I borrowed from other sources), feel free to use and duplicate the content of this site for personal and educational purposes.
