EDGE Application Process

To apply for the EDGE program complete the following seven steps. The applications and documents need to be submitted by March 1.

 1)  Application form for Graduate Admissions (submitted electronically). [Link]

The following forms and documents need to be submitted to:
           Graduate Admissions Committee
            C/O EDGE Program Admission
            Department of Geography
            University of Oregon
            Eugene, OR 97403-1251

2) A copy of your  transcripts from all institutions in which you took college-level courses.
3) Three (3) letters of recommendation. The letters must be sent directly to the   Geography Department by the letter writers.  [Download from]
4) A two to three page statement of purpose.
5) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores - International students with English as a second language only.
6) Application for Graduate Award (Graduate Teaching Fellowship), if desired.[Download form]

7) Official transcripts from all institutions in which you took college-level courses.

Once your materials have been submitted the admission committee will review your documents. You should hear about the status of your application by April 1.
