Undergraduate Advising
The undergraduate adviser in Geography is Jessie Clark. Her office is located in Condon 107H. You may sign up for an appointment to speak with Dr. Clark in the Geography Office (107 Condon Hall) or contact her via email (geogadvr@uoregon.edu) or phone (541-346-5709). Questions about the major requirements, course schedules, track options, honors and thesis options, and geography scholarships should be directed here.It is recommended that all geography majors see the adviser upon entrance to the program. Prior to your advising meeting, please complete the following:
REVIEW THE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS
Read over the Major Checksheet front and back, including GPA minimum, track options, honors requirements, and minor/double major requirements. Be sure that you are aware of these requirements prior to your meeting.
UPDATE YOUR MAJOR CHECKSHEET
Complete or update your Geography Major Checksheet (below) with the courses you have taken or plan on taking. Please note that students entering the program beginning in the Fall 2012 term have a different checksheet. Bring this sheet with you to your advising meeting.
REVIEW YOUR DEGREE AUDIT REPORT
Review your Degree Audit Report on Duckweb to make sure that your personal checksheet matches university records. If there are any discrepancies or errors, bring a copy of this report to your meeting

Add
or make changes to your Geography major, minor or track
Fill out the interactive form, print, and sign and bring to the
Geography Department office in 107 Condon or email an unsigned form
to Sonja Anthone
(santhone@uoregon.edu) with subject line "GEOG change". The
subject line must read exactly as stated above to ensure accurate
receipt.
