Matrix Algebra

Matrix algebra allows a concise presentation of the manipulations of rectangular arrays of data that are required to complete most of the typical multivariate analyses.   These analyses can be understood without knowing much matrix algebra, but the comprehension of what goes on in such analyses is often enhanced by knowing what underlies the analysis.
